About Stitchtrekker...

Tell me about where you live!

I love to collect post cards and stamps from your hometown or country. Anything of interest to you will be of interest to me. I look forward to hearing from you.

This is what I love about living in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA:

Santa Fe is the oldest city and state capitol in the United States. A variety of people with different cultures reside in Santa Fe!

Of course, the Native American nations have been here thousands of years longer. 19 pueblo nations (each with their own language and culture),1 Hopi nation, 2 Apache nations, and part of the Navajo nation are located here in New Mexico. New Mexico also has 18 wineries/vineyards. The entire state of New Mexico is also an archaeologist's dream!

Santa Fe is 7,000 ft. (2,333 meters) above sea level in the southern foot hills of the Rocky Mountains. Santa Fe has many geological sites near by, most of which are national and state parks and historical sites.

We have 13 distinct ecosystems and wildlife in a small area in this mountainous valley.
