About Iryna...

Greetings from Ukraine!

My name is Iryna Stelmakh and I'm happy to connect with the world via Postcrossing!
I joined PC in 2013 and remained active until mid 2018, then I actually started the clinical part of my medical education. I just graduated from medical university, and now can be called Dr. Stelmakh. Now I`m an OG&GYN resident.
I am also interrested in numerous of things: phylosophy, psyhology, history, genealogy, languages, skiing, art, handiwork, historical dances, reconstructions. :) My passion is traveling, and I already visited 20 countries (mostly European).
Being the member of Ukrainian Scout organisation Plast, I have passion to hicking. I love music, my favourite generes are Rock, Metal, Folk and Classical. I am rather old-fashioned person, who loves different ancient stuff, everything that has its own history.

My favourites are:
- postcards with main city sights and different tourist destinations: catedrals (especially Gothic), castles, palaces, ruins, houses
- people in traditional wear/costumes
- cards showing local customs
- mountain views, especially in winter, rivers, lakes, local nature
- regional coat of arms, flag or emblem of your country, city or region
- members of your country`s royal families or historical figures
- retro ski posters
- unusual music instruments of your country
- scouts of your country
- special local dishes and food
- religious postcards
- Gotochi

- Christmas, New Year, Easter, cards and other local festivals and celebrations in appropriate dates

If you don`t have such ones, send me something related to your country, culture, small aspects of way of life in your region.

I prefare cards written, stamped and single-viewed. And, please, no ad cards.
My Favourites include only cards I already received.

I`d also be thankfull for special and unusual stamps. :)

Please, write something about yourself, what you've done recently, what happened to you or what is shown on the card.
I`m learning German and Polish, so you could help me writing in your mothertongue. :)

I`ll be happy to swap cards, stamps and others with people from all around the world. :)))

Thank you for your cards, I appreciate all of them!
My Best Wishes to Everybody!
