My name is Marcella and I'm 39 years old. I live in a small northern California coastal town called Smith River.

I have a pet beta fish named Gustav who is a grumpy curmudgeon. He lives in a large tank filled with plants and a small Spongebob Squarepants pineapple house. He loves hiding in all the plant foliage and small driftwood.

I love reading books. I am currently reading a book titled "A Court of Mist and Fury" by Sarah Maas. I am a frequent patron of my local library! If you feel like it, you can suggest your favorite book on the postcard you send to me. Some of my favorite books are Fierce Invalids Home From Hot Climates by Tom Robbins, The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton, the Cradle Series by Will Wight, and the Cormoran Strike series by Robert Galbraith.

I also like cooking! I would love it if you want to send me a postcard with food from your country/state/area on the front of the postcard. However, I would love any postcard you send me. :)

I would like to become a crazy plant lady but plants are so expensive! I only have about 16 houseplants and so far my favorite plant is the Raphidophora tetrasperma (mini monstera). I have a lot of plants on my patio including a lemon, lime, kumquat and apple tree. Last year I planted a lot of tomato plants in my garden but this year I think I'm just going to plant sunflowers.
