Sophie-Song

Hi~ I'm very happy as a member of postcrossing and have the chance to meet you all here. ^^
My name is Sophie, and I'm a graduate student now at The Scripps Research Institute in California, majoring in biology.
I'm originally from China, which is a beautiful country, with a long history, amazing culture and, of course, tasty foods~ I've lived in Shanghai and Beijing for some time, and have also been to many cities in China, and I think it's really worth to travel to :)
The United States is actually quite a different country from my homeland. I really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and the ideal climate in San Diego. It's a wonderful city to live in!
I have many hobbies. I love listening to music (esp. classical music, and Taylor Swift), and I was a soprano in the acappella group back in university. I love painting, reading, and traveling.
Postcards I'm specifically interested in:
- Special culture or the famous sceneries of your country
- Fine art, beautiful/delicate painting
- Related to music or musical instrument (especially classical music)
- About science (especially biology)
- Cute animals (especially dogs)
- "Greetings from..." series of Postallove
Any kind of postcard is welcomed, so please be free to send me any card you like.
