About Yulia...

Hi, everybody!

I'm an engineering student from Israel. My family is originally from Kiev, Ukraine, but I've been living in Israel since I was four years old.

I enjoy hiking and camping trips, good movies and geeky webcomics (like www.xkcd.com). I also like cookies (who doesn't!), all kinds of sports (the kinds that are on tv, not the kind I have to do myself), and drinking good beer with good friends.

All my friends already know that they have to send me a postcard every time they go abroad. You can ask anyone who knows me how excited I get when I find postcards in the mailbox - I don't know, maybe it's because I'm still new at this :)

A nice single-view card, written and stamped, that shows your corner of the world would be just great! I love the kind of postcards that make me want to visit the place on them.

My favourites page shows just a few examples of cards I like and don't have yet.
In addition to that, you get *extra* points for:
- mountain views
- maps (all kinds of maps, specially US states maps)
- anything with hippos, manatees, pigs, turtles, sloths and hedgehogs
- cool illustrations, doodles, cartoons (specially old Russian cartoons)
- the Beatles
- music album covers
- non-standard shape

If you don't need the extra points, feel free to send me anything else you have! These are only suggestions.
I'm not crazy about ad cards (except the really cool ones!), multi-view cards or folded greeting cards, though.

I read the messages on the back of my postcards before I even look at the image on the front, so it better be interesting! ;)

If you really don't know what to write, I'd be happy to hear about something funny that happened to you recently. And if you're feeling super creative today, you can try to write it in the form of a haiku poem (www.wikihow.com/Write-a-Haiku-Poem) :D

Thanks!
