Hallo everybody

My name is Emmie
I live on a farm near Petrusburg,a small town in South Africa. Our closest city is Bloemfontein. We farm with sheep,cattle, salt, pecan nuts and pomegranates. I used to be a language teacher, librarian and guest house owner (not all at the same time!)but now we live too far from town so I am just a housewife. I have three sons who are now adults, two married, and I am the proud grandmother of two boys and two girls.

I love art and do collages, a bit of painting and a lot of quilting. I also love reading and listening to classical music.If I could afford it I would travel all the time.
I have a lot of pen friends in Europe.

I would love to receive vintage post cards, also post cards with art prints or pictures of old buildings and cities/towns,also pictures of your town or city. I love architectural detail especially windows and doors.I also love beautiful stamps!
