About Katja...

Here's one animal loving bookworm, who likes to work with her hands!

I like cross stitching and knitting and yarn!

I love reading and watching movies (action, fantasy, sci-fi, animal movies (Secretariat, Seabisquit, Hidalgo, Fly Away Home, My Dog, the Thief, etc.), anime (my first introduction to anime was Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin and despite it's flaws it has remained my favorite).

I also like Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away and TV series' (Sherlock, Supernatural, Teen Wolf (I loooove Ian Bohen and J.R. Bourne!!!), Doctor Who, My Little Pony (especially the older), Agents of Shield, Firefly, Torchwood etc.). And I absolutely adore The Witcher!! Henry Cavill and Joey Batey!!!

My all time favorite animation is a 1947 Soviet/Russian traditionally animated feature film, The Humpbacked Horse, or Konyok Gorbunok, a big part is the way they've drawn the horses, and the music. I also have a thing about rainbows thanks to Rainbow Brite.

I mainly read fantasy (Naomi Novik, Anne McCaffrey, Eddings', Forgotten Realms, Dragon Lance etc.) and romance with a dash of horror added for flavor and occasionally science fiction. I love wolves, horses, dragons, unicorns, pegasi, werewolves, vampires and ghosts. And chocolate, in all it's glorious forms. I also like Gotochi cards and Keep Calm -cards and am delighted if someone sends me a World Postcard Day -card, no matter what year.

I also really like postcrossing meet ups, be they F2F or virtual, so meet up cards are always warmly welcome!

I like many, many, many kinds of cards, for visual clues, go take a look at my favorites.

If you're not sure what to write you could tell me something about yourself. Your favorite book/movie/color. If there's text I would really appreciate it, if you translated it. Also could you please put the date on the card. (:

And I won't register a card I haven't received, so no use asking, if your card disappears on the journey, then the universe wanted it for it's own collection.

!!Seasonal note!! I appreciate Halloween cards from october 1st to november 30th and christmas cards from november 1st to december 31st.

And last but certainly not least, if you could please avoid religious themes, that would be much appreciated.
