About Arjun...

Namaste(hi)Postcrossers!

I'm Arjun from India. I love to read a lot. Apart from reading, writing letters is the one thing that I enjoy the most. The best part of this would be imagining how my letters would put a smile on the receiver & at the same time, make them feel special.

Traveling through Europe made me realize that the world of arts is indeed a beautiful place. The glass art making factory in Venice & the beautifully lit up architectures at night in Paris, brought me a different perspective.Seeing them eventually, led me to take up painting to explore the art world. After one painting, I realized that I’m Picasso in the making😁

I prefer postcards on Arts & illustrations, landscapes,& beautiful places.
Would be delighted to receive postcards on love & romance😁I like this VERY-VERY-VERY much! Same goes for Inge Löök cards(happy grannies series,Already have: 3,5,8,9,17,20,21,22,23,24,28,32,34,40,43,46,47,48,52,54,55,58,61,63,64,66,67,68,612) & Blue Cats by Rina Zeniuk. I adore them

I have always been fascinated by Japanese culture & their way of life. If you could send postcards of Japanese Temples, Gardens,& Architecture, it would be lovely. Hokusai painting postcards & other paintings are most welcome.

Don’t have any of these? Send the one which you would have it for yourself. A humble request to avoid tourist/free ad card, old postcard, promotional card,Multi-view card, nudity, or cards which signify violence.

Postcards are here to spread smile & they can undertake only one journey in their lifetime. I believe that it must be made to feel special too.Sending an empty card with just an address makes the postcard feel empty too. If you are an artist/painter, I request you to draw something for me. I cherish such cards. My favorites are all bright colored ones. Like how the life should be.

If you would like to write instead of drawing/painting, I would love to know about you & your life.An anecdotal story from your life, if you can share. You can write about the last time you were happy & the pleasure that you indulged in.Or write about a time where you laughed so hard that you were out of breath & had tears rolling down on your cheeks. Or even, get something off your chest that you feel badly about. A confession. I hear that telling them is a relief & it gets the weight off your chest. Or even a piece of advice on life. The more written content, the more I like it!

I also collect coins & currency notes. Appreciate it if you could send a currency note of least denomination from your country. I have a special interest on the USA $1. I shall send back a card for every note received. If you are sending a coin, please stick the coin to the postcard as shown here & keep it inside the envelope. If it is loose, it will be taken out at the customs clearing department & it will never reach me. Duel metal coins would be lovely (Eg: https://tinyurl.com/Duel-Metal-Coin). I shall send you a postcard for each such coins.

Happy Postcrossing!
-Arjun
