About Arjun...
Namaste (Hi) Postcrossers!
I'm Arjun from India. A day dreamer & a night thinker 😁
I love to read a lot. A fan of romance genre. Apart from reading, writing letters is the one thing that I enjoy the most. The best part of this would be imagining how my letters would put a smile on the receiver & at the same time, make them feel special.
I have lived in the UK for about a year & I can say that the new cultural experience has let me grow in dimensions that I never knew existed! So, I appreciate life more than anything & sometimes I wonder, like a kid, what the future holds for me. I learn from the “downs” & I laugh with the “ups” of life.
Traveling through Europe made me realize that the world of arts is indeed a beautiful place. The glass art making factory in Venice & the beautifully lit up architectures at night in Paris, brought me a different perspective. Seeing them eventually, led me to take up painting to explore the art world. After one painting, I realized that I’m Picasso in the making 😁
I have always been fascinated by Japanese culture & their way of life. If you could send postcards of Japanese Temples, Gardens, & Architecture, it would be lovely. Hokusai painting postcards & other hand illustrations/paintings are most welcome.
Arts & illustrations, landscapes, beautiful places, windmills, & lighthouse are a few preferred themes to help you out. But not mandatory. Also love to get postcards on love & romance :)
Don’t have any of these? Send the one which you would have it for yourself. A humble request to avoid tourist/free ad card, old postcard, promotional card, Multi-view card, or cards which signify violence.
Postcards are here to spread smile & they can undertake only one journey in their lifetime. I believe that it must be made to feel special too. Sending an empty card with just an address makes the postcard feel empty too. If you are an artist/painter, I request you to draw something for me. I cherish such cards. My favourites are all bright coloured ones. Like how the life should be. I love Inge Löök cards (happy grannies series). Blue Cats wishlist can be found at https://bit.ly/33R9d44
Wondering what to write on the back of the card? I would love to know about you & your life. An anecdotal story from your life, if you can share. You can write about the last time you were happy & the pleasure that you indulged in. Or write about a time where you laughed so hard that you were out of breath & had tears rolling down on your cheeks. Or even, get something off your chest that you feel badly about. A confession. I hear that telling them is a relief & it gets the weight off your chest. The more written content, the more I like it!
I also collect coins. If you are sending, please stick the coin to the postcard as shown here(https://tinyurl.com/PostCardCoin), but in envelope. Duel metal coins would be lovely(Eg: https://tinyurl.com/Duel-Metal-Coin)
Happy Postcrossing!
Dhanyavadhagalu (Thank you)
