I'm a retired educator who worked in the Pacific Islands. I love to read, scrapbook and walk with my two small dogs. I enjoy taking classes to learn more card making, scrapbooking, and multimedia art skills.

In the winter I live in a small rural town in Florida, USA that grows lots of tomatoes. I live in a park called Hawaiian Isles that has 1000 manufactured and mobile homes. It is a good community built for those 55 yrs. and older.

I spend the summer in my family's home in Illinois. I enjoy spending time with my sisters and brother's families. We celebrate the 4th of July, a holiday in the USA, with a pot-luck barbeque at my brother's home.

I like to take pictures of me in goofy settings.

I've been postcrossing for over two years and love the cards I've received. Through the postcards, I've met famous people from around the world, learned about folk history, and seen ordinary people doing many things. If you can, I'd like to receive cards with people on them. Famous or not, I don't care. If not, send what you like and tell me about yourself. Thanks.
