I am a wife, a mum of 7 (5 daughters & 2 sons), as well as a gramma of 6 ( 3 girls & 3 boys) with 2 more grandbabies due before the end of the year . I live in Western Pennsylvania (USA).
I love to sew which is a good thing since it is what I do just about every day as I am a costumer with 2 local children's theatres/acting schools. My 2 youngest daughters and I also dress in costumes that we create and go to Renaissance festivals as often as we can. We've been going to the one in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for over 10 years and in the past few years have been to the St. Louis Ren Faire a few times and last year we went to the Great Lakes Medieval Faire in Ohio. My profile picture was taken at this year's Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival.
I am also an avid reader - mainly historical: fiction and journals/diaries but I also love to read fantasy ( Lord of the Rings & Harry Potter etc).
My favorite season is the Fall but I also love winter especially when it snows at night. Its so magical.
I love writing and receiving letters & postcards . I think PostCrossing is a wonderfully fun and creative outlet and I am looking forward to sending and receiving many PostCrossings!
