I am a middle-aged woman who works at a university.

For fun, I enjoy reading, knitting, playing the cello, watching television, and puttering around on the internet.

CARDS I WOULD LIKE:
-Anything specific to your city. I want to know about your corner of the world!
-Anything you find beautiful.

To be perfectly honest, the picture on the postcard doesn't really matter that much to me. Anything is fine! But here's a list, in case you'd like some help in picking out a card.

OTHER THINGS I LIKE:
-Books and/or interesting quotes
-Knitting and yarn
-Art
-Music (especially classical music!)
-Musical Instruments
-Animals
-Tea and chocolate

Homemade cards are fine -- be creative!

However, don't feel like you have to get me something from this list. I'll be happy with any kind of card!

WHAT TO WRITE ABOUT:
Anything, really! Tidbits of information about your and your life, your city or your country, your favorite food, a cause you're passionate about, your favorite book or television show, what the weather is like -- whatever! If you can't think of anything else to say, tell me where you acquired the postcard you sent to me. I'd just love to hear from you!

Also, even though English is the only language I speak, if you could include a phrase in your language, that would be very interesting to me! (Of course, if you are a fellow English-speaking monolingual, then don't worry about it!)

EXPIRED CARDS
I recently found a stack of four cards at the bottom of a pile of papers on my desk; they had been lying there for about a year. I cannot apologize enough for not registering the cards in a timely fashion! They're gorgeous cards and I deeply appreciate receiving them. I'm very sorry -- and thank you to everyone who has ever sent me a postcard!
