My name is Shannon and I live in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with my husband, our daughter, and our three pets (1 dog and 2 cats). I lived in Austria for a year during my university studies which encouraged a deep love of travel, culture, study, and the world. My favorite cities have been Graz (of course), Prague, London, Edinburgh, Madrid, Santiago de Compostela, and Berlin. There is so much more I want to see and experience and my chances are fewer and farther between now than they were 10 years ago, so I want to connect in another way rather than just give up like so many of us do when we start having families.

When I am not working I am always making something, whether it's knitting/crochet, jewelry, stationery, or writing, I'm generally happiest when my creativity is being fed, especially when we’re sitting around playing Dungeons and Dragons. I have a wicked sense of humor and I wouldn't gasp in horror if you sent me a card containing profanity. I also lean pretty far left in terms of politics and am a staunch feminist, so put that little nugget wherever it suits you.

As far as cards I would like to receive, all I know is that I would really love to see more of the world from the people who live there. I prefer a written card over a blank one. What is mundane to you is an adventure to someone else. I am that someone else.
