Hello,

My name is Tanja, and I live with my wonderful wife of 31 years. We have two daughters, 21 and 24.

🌲 When I’m outdoors...

I enjoy kayaking, swimming, bicycling and walking with my rescue dog, Lola, a little black & white terrier who has stolen my heart. I am a scuba diver, too. I like hiking & camping, especially when we get a big group of friends to join us. I’m passionate about traveling to new places, trying new foods & learning about other cultures.

🏠 When I’m indoors...

I also love reading all sorts of books, but especially science fiction, historical fiction, fantasy & cookbooks. I'm a huge fan of audiobooks as well. I also like cross stitching, knitting, meditating, taking care of my plants, feeding the birds in my backyard, and trying out new recipes.

My youngest daughter started international business school in 2021. After studying in France and Italy, she moved to Berlin 🇩🇪 for her final year. She loves it, is traveling as much as possible…and hopefully studying a little, too.

If you have any recommendations for Berlin, I would ❤️ to hear them so I can pass them on to my daughter.

🇩🇪 I am working on my German- please feel free to write to me in simple German so I can keep practicing. I hope to have an extended visit in Germany in 2024, after my daughter’s graduation, so I can visit special places from my family’s history in Germany 🇩🇪 and Lithuania 🇱🇹
