Hi there. My name is Sarah and I live in the UK with my husband and three adult children. I was 50 years old this year. I have belonged to this site for just over 12 months; but have enjoyed receiving postcards for many years, asking friends and family to send me one when they travel abroad. They often bring them back home to me, but I much prefer for them to be posted (without an envelope) while they are actually in the Country they are visiting. I like to see that a card has travelled a journey.

I have been exchanging letters with people for nearly 20 years and enjoy receiving post in the conventional way. I enjoy creative writing, cinema, photography and reading. I also love animals and nature.

I am quite a serene and spiritual type of person and get pleasure from the simple things in life.

Where I live in the UK, is the second biggest city; Birmingham. It is a very industrial and multi-cultural city with a wonderful city centre full of great entertainment, architecture, culture and places to visit. But I spent a large amount of my childhood also visiting our sited caravan in the countryside, so I have an appreciation of rural life as well.

I would like to receive postcards from anywhere in the World, from anyone who is kind enough to send me one. I have no demands. Every card you send me will feel special; as you've chosen it for me.

I will register any postcards I receive on the day they arrive and likewise, send postcards off to recipients on the day I request the address.
