About Sarah...

My name is Sarah and I LOVE writing letters, notes, postcards, anything for any reason! I'm a 34-year-old former nurse from the Midwest; just outside Kansas City, MO in the U.S.--right in the middle of the country. One of my favorite things to do is play with my niece and nephew.

Learning about other countries (and my own!) fascinates me. I have a travel journal I write in whenever I go someplace and all the places I want to see; it's a long list.

My husband and I are renovating our new house! We got married four years ago and making this home our own makes me so happy. Entertaining my family and friends in my home feels good. What makes you happy? Have you done anything fun lately?

I am a very girly-girl and love anything that has to do with fashion: Jewelry, makeup, hair, shoes, purses...But I also love nature: Mountains, beaches, the desert, etc., music, chocolate, historical sites, camels, llamas and funny/dorky postcards. Pretty much anything, really. (It doesn't take much to make me happy.)

I also love books and movies (particularly old movies) and going to wine-tastings, crafty Pinterest projects, cooking and anything roller derby related. I LOVE the shows Psych, Arrested Development and, for all my Canadian friends, Corner Gas. Anything Corner Gas related would make me soooooo happy.

I saw this on the profile of someone I sent a card to: "I recently received an address to send a card to B. Varsha in India. She posted a couple quotes from postcrossers. I really liked this one:

Every single postcard brings me love, from a different corner of the world. The little piece of paper has its temperature, just right enough to make people feel warm. By sending a postcard to someone, we send out care and love. While the postcards are being exchanged, the love is spread out...”
