I live in Applegate, California which is in the foothills of Northern California. Gold was discovered in 1848 about 25 miles south in Coloma which started the Gold Rush.

I would like to receive postcards from anywhere! I am interested in seeing where other people live, so photos of your country would be appreciated, or anything that you think represents what makes your town, city, or country special. I like the "Greetings From" postcards too. Surprise me!

My hobbies are cycling, kayaking, gardening, sewing & quilting and reading. I like to be outdoors and enjoy nature. I like to watch birds, but am not very good at identifying them. I have lots of bird houses and bird feeders in my yard, some of which I made. I like to travel too, especially by bike.
