About Samantha...

Hello, my name is Samantha and I am 23 years old. My hobbies are sewing, knitting, reading, stamp collecting, and watching TV.

I mainly collect horse stamps but I also collect anything I find interesting. My stamp collection is growing far too fast.

I am currently studying American Sign Language at my school with the intent of becoming an Interpreter. I am a full time student (6 classes/18 credits) so patience is appreciated when receiving cards.

I love writing to people and heard from my father about this website. It caused me to become excited because I love to see stamps, letters, cards, from other countries and states. I can't wait to "meet" you lovely people.

My favorite animals are horses and dolphins. I love all animals; but those are my top two. My third favorite is the Cheetah.

I am a Christian and a pastors daughter. I spend a lot of time at my church and love our small congregation.

My top ten favorite books are:
1. The Bible.
2. Lord of the Rings
3. Chronicles of Narnia
4. Silas Marner
5. The Hunger Games
6. The Fault in our Stars
7. The Mars Diaries
8. The Beekeeper's Apprentice (A Sherlock Holmes story)
9. Star Trek novels
10. Ender's Game

I live in beautiful New York state but not the city. I have been to the city and can recommend it for sight seeing. It is a beautiful city. It gets very cold here and we get quite a bit of snow.

I am often called the girl of many nicknames. I am called: Sam, Sammie, Sammiejoe, Sammiejosaphine, George, Sissy, Bob, and Sam Sam.

If you send me a postcard I'd love to see one from a landmark in your country/state. Actually, anything significant from your country/state would be amazing. I love learning new things about different places and would be honored to learn from the people who live there.

Really, anything you find would be interesting. I would also love to see homemade postcards if you are artistically inclined. I am not, so if you receive a homemade card from me it's likely to be photography that I took.

I don't care if they are in an envelope. But if you do send something with an envelope I'd love it if you put a note, newspaper clippings, or something of that nature in there.
