I teach 5th grade Literacy and Social Studies/History (my students range from 10-12 years old). I'm very excited about the prospect of receiving postcards from around the world. I plan on displaying them in my classroom, and I know my students will really enjoy them.

I don't have a specific preference about what type of postcard I want to receive, just send one that reflects your personal style. :)

I think it would be really neat if you wrote what your typical meal consists of or if you included an interesting fact about your country or the town that you live in.

If you are sending a postcard from the U.S. it would be neat if you included an interesting fact about your state that I could share with my students.
