My name is Sooraj (means 'The Sun' in Hindi) , residing at Kerala in India.Kerala also known as 'God's own country'.I am living with my father, mother and a younger brother. I know English, Hindi and two regional languages .

I recently signed up in postcrossing.com. My best friend Rakesh was the one who told me about this site. Firstly I thought it was a joke, in a world were social media sites conquering letters, postcrossing.com would not succeed. But after joining I felt, that I was wrong. Because there were so many members and so many postcards were exchanging between them.

I am working for the Postal department of India (India post) as a Postal assistant. My hobbies are collecting stamps and currencies and making friends around the world by sending postcards.

While sending postcards to me try to paste large beautiful stamps of smaller denomination(Use philatelic stamps if possible), so that I can add more stamps to my philately collection. Please it's a request.I will be please to receive anything you sent .(Check my favourites for reference).One more request - Try to scan and upload the image of postcard before posting,if possible.Please..........
