Hello. My name is Sherri and I live in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Nebraska is in the middle of the United States and has a lot of farmland and a few cities. I grew up in a small town of 500 people but now I live in the "big city" of 225,000.
I am the mother of two children. My oldest will be attending Macalester College in Minnesota, and my youngest is still home with me as he finishes high school.
I have a degree in chemistry and work in R&D for a pharmaceutical company.
My favorite thing is spending time with my family. I love to cook, especially ethnic food. I also enjoy learning about everything but especially history and visiting interesting sites and museums. My favorite entertainment is going to theatre and music performances.
I will enjoy any postcard I get but here are some ideas if you need them: historical places or interesting/famous people from your area, ethnic food, rhinos (my favorite animal), trumpets (my instrument) or anything about science.
Since I love to cook ethnic food, I would like to know what is your favorite food from your country/area. If I can find the recipe, I may try to make it. I also love quotes so let me know if you have a favorite one.
