About Rusty...

I am a 9 year old male.

I love to learn about natural phenomenon. It's sad how they devastate entire regions. I have had a busy year learning about earthquakes and tsunamis. I wish I could help the people effected!

Postcards about tornadoes, volcanoes, tsunamis, regions affected by them, etc. are some of my most treasured.

I am newly interested in nuclear energy, due to the horrible events in Japan. I don't understand a lot about it yet. We've recently started learning about the locations of nuclear plants and disasters of the past. Do you know how I can learn more about these things?

We collect stamps. If you could put on as many as possible, either on a postcard or envelope, we would really appreciate it!

We participate in a homeschool co-op. That's where homeschooled children coordinate classes together. We do a lot in Science and Social Studies as a group!

We use the cards in different ways, so anything along an educational line would be appreciated.

1. To look up where they came from: please put your region and postal code on the card.

2. To look up what is on the card itself. If you can, please send us something we can look up in an encyclopedia or on the internet. Our favorites are:

*map postcards
*state/country/region information
*animals of any kind- the weirder, the better!
*tourist attractions
*weather and natural phenomenon (volcanoes, lava, lightning, etc.)
*anything you think is cool!

3. To use the stamps for our collection.
