My name is Roxy and I'm originally from Transylvania, Romania, a beautiful country located at the intersection of Central and Southeastern Europe, full of gorgeous landscapes (of the Carpathian mountains and a great opening to the Black Sea), with warm, very welcoming people, a very flavored cuisine and a jaw-dropping history.
I am currently working as a Finance Manager and Business Development Executive in the state of Colorado, USA.

I'm interested in the diversity of cultures & customs, traditions and art, in what makes each nation great and unique.
I love travelling to new countries and living like a local for a couple of days (I use couchsurfing for that and I'm in love with it! and the people I get to meet). I also like to read a lot (history, politics, novels, news, market, economy etc); I want to learn and speak as many languages as possible (I already speak Romanian, English and Spanish, Italian and French), so don't be shy with using native words for the generic "hi"/"bye", greetings etc !

I'd love to receive postcards with what it is considered to be the most representative thing about your country/culture. (I respect everybody's personal choices, but I'd rather NOT receive postcards of cats, flowers, etc. I'm a history lover, so cities, roads, views, buildings, arts, anything that makes your place so special will do it for me:)

What should you say to me? I'd like you to tell me something about you, your dreams, perhaps your favorite quote in your native language and translate it into English for me, please:)!
