About RinRa...

Hello world!
I'm Catherine from Minneapolis, Minnesota - in the US Midwest. It's a pretty flat land. So I ride my bike almost everywhere I go: grocery shopping, to the movies, to meet friends, as long as there is no snow on the ground. I live in a house that is old (100+ years) with my spouse and cats.

I love old fashioned mail, handwritten letters and cards. The Postcrossing project is a great way to connect. I also love stamps from different countries, and like to use them in my paper crafts.

I like to do all sorts of crafts: altering second hand clothing, sewing tote bags, knitting hats, creating stuffed animals, making greeting cards, collages, jewelry making...

Also I enjoy reading and watching movies. Plenty of my time is spent cooking, baking, and borrowing cookbooks from the library. I like to try new flavors, with recipes serving as a starting point.

For postcards:
I am happy to get anything you want to send me.
Surprise me! So many things out there and it will be thrilling to receive postcards from other places.

Idea starters:
- local sights or famous landmark from your town/area
- sea, sand, sky, clouds, trees
- kids playing
- daily life scenes
- simple line drawings or sketches
- sights you see everyday
- kitchens or bathrooms
- food you like
- animals
- interesting sculpture or statues
- maps
- something you like (tell me why)

*Would love you to tell something about you: your daily life, what you collect, things you don't like, what's your favorite word, what is your favorite color, cats or dogs, paper or plastic, bath or shower, night or day, coffee or tea, mountains or ocean, least favorite task or chore, a sound you like (ocean waves, birds chirping, hum of washing machine, ...)

* I love any interesting, colorful stamps from different countries and also the postmarks. If possible, please put postcard in envelope, so i can keep both postcard and stamps with postmarks.

I'm looking forward to this postcard adventure and reaching people many miles away. Best regards!
