About Renata...

My name is Renata and I'm from Mumbai, India. The best part about the city is how much it allows you to do. There's never a chance of getting bored here.

I'm a nutritionist. I like reading, desserts (cupcakes-brownies-muffins), watching movies and plays, dancing, learning new languages and musical instruments. I run marathons and dance Odissi (Indian classical dance). I like being creative (painting, embroidery, paper quilling).I love animals and we have always had pets at home as far as I can remember. (Dogs, cats, birds, turtles, fish).

I would like to receive postcards on the following themes:
*dance (any kind will do, but if there are any forms native to your country I would like to know about them)
*musical instruments
*churches, temples, any place of worship
*running (long distance/sprinting/jogging, in the rain/snow/ desert/hills)
*animals (dogs, cats, horses, any kind actually. Birds and fish will also do)
*inspiring quotes or famous lines from movies or books
*book covers and movie posters
*exercise or sport-related (martial arts, Capoeira especially, yoga, kickboxing, or any sport your country is famous for)
*nature, landscapes, city skylines
*black and white photography
*a photograph you have clicked yourself
*doodles, sketches, paintings
*food (local cuisines)

You can write on the postcard:
*about yourself, what you do
*what books you read, movies or plays you like watching, any sport you play
*about your city and country (The local dance forms, festivals, traditional foods, do you have any marathon events there)
*a phrase or quote in your language (with the translation)or my name :)
*a local or favorite recipe
*movies or books in your regional language you would recommend to watch/read

I like postcards written and without envelopes. However, if you like, you can also send me greeting cards, or photographs taken by you, in an envelope. If sending an envelope, you could insert:
*a bookmark
*newspaper cutting
*tickets (bus/cinema/theatre)
*colorful stamps

I would be happy to receive anything that you send. Birthday and Christmas cards will be very well appreciated :)

I love reading and exploring new languages and cultures. So if anyone would like to exchange books I would be more than happy.

I know English, Hindi, Marathi, French, Italian and German. You can write in any language you're comfortable with.
