Reflections

On the beautiful Oregon Coast, walking on the beach hoping to find a simple treasure or hiking one of the many trails are two favorite things.

As an avid reader, always looking for suggestions for a great read. Taking the canoe out is always a treat and fishing and crabbing, while not often, are always good for an evening's meal.

Self-employment has been very rewarding and does offer up free time for gardening, playing with PomYorkie Baxter, and crafts like quilting and beading.

Discovered this Postcrossing concept because a relative sent me a post card out of the blue and so enjoyed it, that I went to store to buy one to send to her. The clerk at the store told me about the site because she has been receiving post cards from around the world and has really been enjoying it.

I was cleaning out the attic, and came across dozens of old post cards from trips across the US to the East Coast where I visited all the famous landmarks. Also, old post cards from Europe travels. Really brought back memories. I am looking forward to the lost anticipation that going to the mail box used to provide.

Post Cards I would enjoy would be of places and things that you like, Cards that are like art themselves or those things that reflect your creative or thoughtful side. I have been enjoying all that I have received and look forward to receiving many more.
