Hi everyone!
Well, to start with, my name is Raquel Blanco and I am an 18-year-old girl from Spain. I was born in Mérida, a little city that the past it was a roman town called Emérita Augusta. That's why we have many roman remains like our Roman Theatre and our Acueduct. I lived there since I was born; with my parents, my sister and my dog.Right now I am living at Getafe, Madrid.

I'm studying Law and International Relations at the UC3M in Madrid. And I am an active member of an Europeanist Association called Nuestra Europa.(@europa_nuestra)

In my University, I take part in a theatre club. I enjoy acting pretty much and also watching plays. When It comes to languages I obtained my C1 English certificate and a B1 in French. So it would be really cool to practice languages while having fun sending postcards!

But let's talk about me and my likes for a bit :)

One of the things I like the most is drawing and painting. I'm also into black and white photography. I believe art is an essential part of us humans and I just find it amazing. So if you could send an artistic postcard I'd be really pleased. For example, Van Goth, Picasso, Dalí, Renoir, Boticelli or Da Vinci ones.

I also love music but my taste can be a bit weird for many people. I listen to pop, rock, pop-rock but I am really into indie. Some of my favourite bands/singers are: Vance Joy, Ed Sheeran, The Cranberries, Jake Bugg, Coldplay, Green Day, Izal, The Beatles, Passenger, Bruno Mars, Kodaline, Frank Sinatra, Michael Bublé, Bastille, Vetusta Morla, Leiva, Guns n'Roses, Imagine Dragons, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift. Oh, and I forgot to say that I'm learning to play the guitar.

Another of my hobbies is playing videogames and watching films and series. I love Naughty Dogs' games specially Uncharted and The Last of Us. And also graphic adventures such as Life is Strange or Beyond Two Souls.

I must admit I'm kind of obsessed with ZOMBIES; I absolutely love The Walking Dead series/comics. I follow other ones such as: Adventure Time, American Horror Story, Stranger Things,13 Reasons Why ,Game of Thrones, Regular Show...

And when it comes to films some of my fauvorites are: Amélie, Colorful, Inception, A Clockwork Orange, E.T., Pulp Fiction (in general Tarantino's), Inglourious Basterds, Die Welle, Matrix, Seven, Big Fish, Donnie Darko, Edward Scissorhands, Avatar, The Butterfly Effect, Jurassic Park and Disney and Pixar films.

I also like reading but I prefer doing it during summer. My fauvorite writer used to be Laura Gallego a Spanish one; the book I like the most of hers is the trilogy: Memorias de Idhún. Right now I'm reading the jaw-dropping books of Song of Ice and Fire.
