Hi! My name is Rachel, I live on Whidbey Island in Washington State. A quiet village by the sea. We are surrounded by mountains and beautiful blue water. I live in a house full of boys. My husband Dan, 4 year old twins Henry and Tate, 2 year old Finnegan and an English Bulldog, Dudley. My days are spent exploring with my boys, seeing the world through their eyes.

Picking up rocks on the beach, taking hikes in the woods, feeding our neighbor's sheep, swinging in the park, painting in my art journal.

I want to travel to places I have never been before, and this is the way I will do it for now :-)

I love old things. Books, stories, lace, photographs, quilts, mountains, paintings.

I love new things. Gardens, journals, children, music, homemade everything.

I will probably receive your postcard in the afternoon while my kids are sleeping. It is Fall now, so I will have a cup of tea and have dirt under my nails from my garden. The mornings are getting cooler. Its almost time to an extra blanket on our bed. Transport me to where you are. Show me something magical. Tell me a story. I will enjoy everything and anything :-)
