My name is Reinette and I love living in the beautiful city of Cape Town, 5 mins from the beach and hosting an abundance of geographical features, different cultures, and even climates, which can be completely opposite in various parts of our city. The greater city of Cape Town has grown from several smaller towns and sprawls from the Atlantic and the Indian Oceans to forest or grasslands areas, all around the Table mountain range, right up to the Winelands area around Stellenbosch.

There are three universities within 45 minutes drive from one another, an opera house and many theaters, art galleries, sports grounds [where international events are also held], marinas, yacht clubs, glorious public gardens, hiking trails, and a plethora of hotels and restaurants.

Annually the famous Two Oceans Marathon and grueling Cape Argus Cycle Tour challenge participants from all over the world, and entertain millions of spectators!

Our city hosts many international events [like the Soccer World Cup in 2010, and many Jazz Festivals] and conferences, including the Global Speakers Forum, International Congress of Psychotherapy, and Toastmasters District conferences,

I think our weather is the best in the world: never too hot or too cold, and with plenty of wind to sweep any smog away and allow for fantastic kite surfing and sailing!

I work as a Clinical Psychologist / Psychotherapist in private practice, and am also a professional speaker. My interests include anything to do with the performing and visual arts, healing & self-development, neuropsychology, leadership, and communication.
