I live in one of the most beautiful cities in the USA, San Diego, CA. If you ever get to visit, come in the autumn. The sunsets are spectacular !I am a retired educator, I just recently completed eight years (two terms) on our local school board. I have been a widow for four
years now and I still so miss my husband and best friend of 28 years. In July of 2021 , I lost my son to colo-rectal cancer.My entire lifestyle has been upended so I am going through a major lifestyle change.WithPostcrossing (I have been a member since 2015) continues to bring me joy.
I am getting back to my volunteer work and service organizations.I have recently been afforded a new opportunity which brings joy to my heart. I am part of a trio who performs at health care centers for the elderly. It has brought a new direction into my life. I love to read especially biographies and memoirs. I also love movies. Thank goodness we have streaming services !
