Poppyfield

My life is quite ordinary. I live on the outskirts of Northampton, England, not far from the Silverstone motor-racing circuit. I'm a mother, a wife, a post-grad student and I work in mental health services. My interests include sewing, running, vegetarian cooking, and learning Spanish. The things that make me happy are compassion, hot summer days (by British standards this is anything over 25c) and visiting European cities. I am saddened by racism, the unwillingness of the world to help refugees and Donald Trump. I'm disappointed by Brexit and consider myself more European than British.

I like hearing about about the ordinary details of other people's life. Equally I like to hear what others think about Britain, good or bad. A tasty vegetarian recipe is always welcome, as are any words of wisdom. Go on, suprise me 😄
