I work at a non-profit homeless shelter in Albany Oregon. This is my dream job. I often work more than one job because my dream job isn't about the wage and paying my bills - it is about making a difference in someones life that has less than me. I love our residents and am happy and fulfilled each day with my work. Albany in a small community with a big heart. It is centralized in the state and you do not have to travel too far to reach many social events or outdoor activities. Snow skiing is only about an hour to the east, the ocean is an hour to the west and city life is about an hour north. What more can a person ask? I am the mom of 3 adult children and now have 3 grandsons as well. Momo is how everyone addresses me now. I couldn't be more overjoyed by my boys. My husband and I will be celebrating 30 years this April. WOW!!! That's a long time. My hobbies are junk journaling, meditating, walking, rock painting and reading. I have always loved to have pen pals since I was in grade school. I love the beauty in postcards and the smile that one can bring to a challenging day. So, now I am adding another hobby to my list - Postcarding. This hobby actually ties into two of my other hobbies, junk journaling and pen pals. I pen pal or postcard with someone (FUN), I get a postcard (EXCITING) and then I can use the postcard in my journal (HAPPINESS) What a win win win!!!!!!!! Loving life in Albany. Trudy
