I'm an artist, game designer and entrepreneur, I'm starting to learn about broadcast media as well. I live in California.

Lately I have been rediscovering my love of books, and have been participating in the GoodReads reading challenge (I read about a book a week, and usually pass 50 per year). My favorite genres are science, science fiction, fantasy and adventures. I also love learning about other cultures.

Postcard types I enjoy:

Science/space themed
Whimsical/silly
50s, 60s themed
Unusual animals
Comics/art/cartoons
Landscapes--I prefer very colorful ones
Aurora borealis
Oddities

Dislikes:
Typed (I prefer seeing handwriting)
Multi-views (These typically look cluttered, but if you think it's awesome, I might too)
Blank (what's the fun in that?)

However, I do enjoy getting any cards, it's a lot of fun.

If you don't know what to write, maybe something about a story/book you loved, or what you like about your town/nearby areas. Sometimes something as simple as breakfast is interesting to someone who does things differently. I read an article recently with photos of kids' breakfasts all over the world, and they were almost all very different from what I think of as breakfast.
I also enjoy proverbs or sayings and language, so if you have a favorite saying, tell me what it is and why you like it!
For instance, I found that in French, "c'est la vie" is used, but in the French part of Canada, I'm told it is not.
