Hello I’m Sarah. I am in my 60’s and was widowed in 2015. Together with my French husband we lived in New York, Edinburgh and Paris.
Now I am back living in Edinburgh which is the capital of Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 It is a beautiful city full of great architecture, friendly people and beautiful scenery all around. It is near the sea.
I have a grown up son who lives not far from me and a cat whose name is Daisy.
I love to read and to write letters (the old fashioned way!). I have many books in my flat but I have yet to read all of them!
I like to paint (watercolour). I love art especially paintings, architecture and jewellery design. I would be happy to receive a postcard of a painting from an art museum in your country! Or a postcard of flowers! And I love beautiful stamps!
I also do yoga twice a week and I like to go on long walks. I am passionate about gardens and flowers. Many years ago I worked as a florist.
I am an energetic person with lots of interests so I stay busy!
