About Pamela...

Hello!

My name is Pamela and I am 46 years old. I am originally from Canada but I have been living in England since 1994.

My main hobbies are photography and travelling. If you are on the photography website Flickr you can find me there:

https://www.flickr.com/photos/henwood/page1

I am interested in Jane Austen and attend the Jane Austen Festival in Bath each year in September. I am fascinated by architecture and I have recently completed a degree in the Conservation of Historic Buildings while also working full time as an accountant.

I am very interested to hear about you, and where you live. You might also want to tell me about what is shown on the card. If it is an architecture card you can tell me more about the building or the architect! It would be nice for you to write a few sentences in your own language (with a translation). Please include the date and write as much as you can and I am grateful for interesting stamps!

I am looking forward to receiving all cards but especially the following:

- Architecture (especially historic/traditional architecture or unique to your country)
- Architectural details (such as doors, windows)
- Landscape views of your local area
- Main landmarks (Churches, Historic Houses, Castles, World Heritage Sites, Monuments)
- Views of your town/city
- Flowers native to your country
- Traditional costume, embroidery, samplers

If possible I prefer photo cards, and cards which relate to where you live. My aim is to get an impression of your country/hometown from the postcard.

If you prefer to send the postcard in an envelope that is also welcome. I know that some people like to send something in the envelope with the postcard - if you would like to do this I would be very grateful for a tourist brochure/leaflet relating to your town/city or a specific tourist attraction (such as a historic place, museum, national monument, palace, castle etc). I am always looking for interesting places that I might visit one day!

Please do not send free cards or advertisements.

I am looking forward to receiving your card.

Happy postcrossing and best wishes,

Pamela
