About Bradley...

Hi, I'm Bradley and I'm from Allison Park, a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I used to love writing and receiving letters to my pen pals in the 90's and early 2000's. However, with the takeover of e-mail, and eventually social networking, most people weren't into exchanging letters anymore. So, I was very delighted to encounter something like Postcrossing, when an acquaintance introduced me to it. I love to travel, but haven't done nearly enough of it lately.

I love to write, read, draw and build things; I like keeping my hands busy, and I LOVE to learn! I adore dogs, too, especially Corgis, Pugs and Shiba Inu, as well as Border Collies.

I'm a big comic fan - DC more so than Marvel - but I like complex stories and characters that long-running series have to offer. I enjoy reading Haruki Murakami, Kenzaburo Oe, Ryu Murakami, Pynchon, Stephen King and Lovecraft. My biggest hobby is probably video games. Though I think that the golden age of gaming has probably passed, exchanging creativity and fun for profitability and ubiquity. i.e. - I love retro gaming, especially Nintendo Game & Watch games. I collect toys, and I'm crazy for Legos.

I'm not much of a movie person these days, but my favorites are the Back to the Future trilogy, Ghostbusters, the first three Die Hard movies, Battlefield Baseball, Kill Bill and Terminator 2. On the TV front, my faves are Breaking Bad, Batman The Animated Series, Better Call Saul, The Office, Married With Children, Arrow, Grimm, Halt and Catch Fire, too many others to list. (I'm very into episodic mediums)

I'm also sort of a linguaphile, I've spent a long time studying Japanese, I've been to Japan multiple times, and am currently studying for a degree in an in-demand field in Japan so that I have the option of moving there when I'm all finished. I've recently been studying Spanish, as well. In addition to Japanese culture, I'm pretty keen on Latin culture, too.

As far as postcards sent to me, I leave the design and images up to you. I don't want to put restrictions or preferences here, because I don't want to prevent someone from sending me something quirky that I might potentially like! Although, I have seen a few profiles mention "3D postcards"? I'd love to see what those are.

If you are from Japan, feel free to write in Japanese on the postcard you send!

Also, if you could please put the date on the postcard you send, I would really appreciate it!
