I live in Derby UK. I am married with a wife and two daughters of 17 and 19, a dog, a cat, and tortoise the same age as me. I am a retired accountant. I enjoy corresponding with people in other countries, just understanding our differences and similarities, our likes and dislikes etc. Meeting people online in other cities and countries prompts me to read and learn about those places...it is a form of on-line travelling. But I also like to travel for real when I can, usually on my own, as my wife and daughters now prefer beach holidays, whereas I am happier exploring the world with my walking boots.

How dull life was before this was possible and its only a few years ago. I also enjoy real postage stamps, don't let your post office print the postage for you at the counter, tell them to go and find a real stamp of interest!
