Hi there and welcome to my little corner of the world.
I'm Chelle and I live in a small medieval market town in Cornwall. I have three children (and a husband) and we've recently adopted a three legged dog called Bug. She's a shar pei crossed with a staffy and is the sweetest, most loving dog I've ever met. (Though I am kind of biased!) - though the kids have a chocolate lab dog called Rolo who lives with their dad. He absolutely adores my husband when we go over there!

I love history and languages, and I'm always looking to expand my knowlege. We have a jar filled with pieces of paper with different countries written on and folded. The kids take it in turns to choose one and we then try to learn a little about that culture, or maybe a phrase from the language, we look at it on a map and we find a recipe to make together from there. We might not like everything we try, but it expands their taste buds and knowledge, which they love.

I'd love to see any phrases or words in your own language if possible!

I love writing as well. Mostly fanfiction and poetry, but it keeps my mind active when I'm having a flare up (fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome). When I'm unable to do that, I either try to read or I knit. Scarves, blankets and cushions are easiest as I don't need to fully concentrate. I can just go on autopilot!!

I'm a proud nerd too - Star Trek, Harry Potter, , Supernatural. Stargate.... These are just a fraction of the things I enjoy, and what I like to write fanfiction about.

I love any type of cards, I don't mind. I'm just interested in discovering other tiny corners of the world :D
