About Jennifer...

I found out about postcrossing from a friend and I knew that it was something my children and I would love to do as we love receiving mail! I work as a physical therapist in the local school district. I have two children, a boy and a girl, who are both 12 years old and only 3 1/2 months apart in age. I also have custody of my nephew who is 16 years old. My daughter is a typical 12 year old girl and she loves animals, baking, Paris, London, pandas, llamas, and singing groups. My son loves swimming, eating, and animals. My nephew is very into music and plays the piano, oboe, tenor drums, and is currently drum major for his high school marching band. My daughter is very, very interested in mail and so she will be checking the mailbox for any postcards and she often claims them as her own:) For the most part, she will be collecting the postcards so please make them appropriate for a child to see.

We live on the southwest coast of Florida, near the Gulf of Mexico!! I would love to travel more than I do, but so far I have traveled to Mexico, China, and more recently I traveled to India in 2009. I have also traveled to several states within the US, but would love to explore more. My son was born in India and my daughter was born in China and so they are very interested in information related to their birth country (if you happen to be from either of those countries:-) ).

We love animals, traveling, reading, geocaching, etc. We are open to any card you would like to send.

As a family, we are unable to travel at this time so we enjoy day trips to amusement parks and state parks. We like to keep busy and spending time together. We are huge animal lovers both as pets and enjoying in the wild. We look forward to receiving postcards from all over the world. For non-English speakers or if English is a secondary language, I would also love to have something written in your native language!

***If you happen to have a postcard of French macarons in your collection, my daughter would be soooo excited if she found that in our mailbox:).
