Hello - I am 48 years of age. I live in a beautiful sea-side town on the east coast of the north island of New Zealand. Later this year I will begin studying toward a qualification in adult teaching. I am already a trained primary school teacher but I don't work in that field, I work as a medical typist. My interests and likes include: Jesus Christ, the Bible, Israel, history, travel, anything vintage, cats, walking, chickens, bicycles, lifestyle farming, cheesemaking, cows, Scotland, reading, beautiful scenery, handcrafts like knitting and crochet, England, the beach, countryside, farmhouses, barns, poetry, the British Royal Family, the Danish Royal Family, museums and bridges and the American West/Pioneering times. I love Laura Ingalls Wilder books and read them all in my childhood (Little House on the Prairie) as well as the LM Montgomery books (Anne of Green Gables) - and I still read them from time to time as an adult! One of the highlights of my overseas travel was visiting the Laura Ingalls Wilder home in Mansfield, Missouri, USA. I also like country music and I play the guitar and love to sing. My favourite foods are cheeseburgers, lasagna and anything Mediterranean. My ancestry is Danish. I like camping. I love my cat, who is a tortoiseshell called Phoenix.
