Hi, everyone!
I learned about Postcrossing from my sister and I think it´s an excellent idea. I´ve always loved getting postcards, especially from faraway places because I´m afraid of flying...

I´m married, with 2 almost adult girls, 2 cats and many hobbies. We live in Prague, the capital city of Czech Republic, but we try to spend as much time as possible in our country home. I love cooking, gardening, knitting, crocheting, sewing and spinning. Reading is a must for me. I enjoy walking, swimming (sea is the best option) and taking photos of nature. I enjoy having good food and a glass of wine on the patio in the company of my loved ones and friends.

For me, Postcrossing is a way to stop hurrying for a moment in this crazy world. Taking out my selection of postcards, stamps and stickers and my special Postcrossing pen. Thinking about which card to send to a given person, trying to connect with him/her and writing as much as possible in the limited space. (Have you noticed how seldom we actually write, i.e. not type?) Licking the stamp. Going to the P.O. or to the mailbox. Opening my letterbox every day with great anticipation. For me, Postcrossing isn´t about collecting as many cards as possible, it´s about meeting people and warm human contact.

So - with this in mind, be so kind and try to think about what you´ll send to me as much as I´m thinking about you.
