About Braeden...
Hello everyone! I am Braeden Reilly and I am a 6th grade (11 & 12 year olds) Earth Science teacher in Colorado, USA. I absolutely love my job, teaching is my passion. My students inspire me every single day, to be a better teacher and human. Being able to help influence the youth of our world is something I that I take great pride in and cannot wait to see where these young minds can go one day.
I love to travel and am always attempting to bring in other cultures and experiences into my classroom. This is a huge part of my identity as I believe my purpose on this Earth is to help create a more kind world in the scope of cross cultural awareness and understanding. With this, I am hoping to foster an international mindset for my school, Kindergarten –– 8th grade (5-14 year olds) with postcards from all corners of our globe.
I enjoy hiking, watching documentaries and learning about our Earth and reading. I love watching the sunset over the Rocky Mountains, it is so fascinating to watch the sun set in a pattern, going north and south along the Rockies in between the solstices.
I love learning about local stories of new places and trying new foods or even attempting to cook for recipes to try from all over. I am currently trying to master ajiaco, which is native dish to Bogotá, Colombia. I am getting more into baking and cooking and am thrilled with new things to try.
Thanks so much for reading, have a great day,
Braeden
