About MountainGal...

Hey there! I'm just a gal from the mountains of North Carolina, USA. I've got two awesome kiddos. I like to read folk stories from other countries. I love postcards and stamps. I would like to learn to cook some traditional recipes from other countries. I just travel the world and learn new things from my postcards.

Any type of postcard you choose to send me will make me smile. I love them all. If you need a little help, here are just a couple things I would like, but really, I like them all!
*Christian - I am a Christian, so any type of Christian postcard is always welcome!
*Christmas - I collect them and love to receive them at any time during the year.
*Halloween - I would like these all year round. I collect them. If you would like to write a local ghost story or legend on it, that would be awesome. ;)
*Teeny Tiny Things- I like the postcards with lots of little pictures of items (teapots, windows, vegies...). Not entirely sure what these are called, but I think they are cool.
*Postcards of cemeteries would be great. I enjoy genealogy, so I enjoy visiting cemeteries. If you know anything about the cemetery, I would love to read about it.
*Architecture- I like the postcards of different types of windows or doors.

I would love to have "The Three Little Pigs" postcards or a postcard you make of your favorite story when you were a child. If you are crafty and would like to make one and send it that would be awesome! You can be creative and use pictures from a story book, glitter, lace or whatever. And I do not mind if these are mailed in an envelope. I would love to see your favorite story (pictures & the writing, especially in other languages) and see how creative different people are.

Writing on the postcard...
Reading what you have written on the postcard is very important to me. It's as important as the postcard itself. I try to write tiny and as much as I possibly can on the postcards I send and would very much appreciate it if you would do the same.
Ideas of what to write:
*Write about the picture on the postcard.
*Write a traditional recipe from your country.
*Write about the area you live. I will never be able to visit your country, so anything you can tell me about it will be very interesting to me.
*Tell me something that has blessed your life lately. Add a Bible verse. That would be great.

I honestly will love anything you send me. It will bring a smile to my face and bring me happiness. Thank you!

HAVE A HAPPY DAY! :)
