I have been retired since 2013, and love it! I live in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Recently moving back after living in the Texas Hill Country for a couple of years. I have lived in Louisiana and Arizona also - there are people and things about both of those states that I love and miss. I enjoy several hobbies, quilting, sewing, reading, crafting of all sorts. After retiring, I was introduced to Zentangle, and I have been enjoying drawing and doodle art almost daily - making cards for friends and family. I love writing and sending letters and postcards. I try and learn something new each day - the trick at my age is retaining it.

As for the types of postcards and messages I'd like to receive, I'd have to say that I would like them to be representative of your personality - funny, a favorite place where you live, favorite artist, animal, etc. with a message of a personal nature - what's your favorite thing about where you live, what you and your family do together, your favorite time of year or holiday, or some tidbit you'd like to share.
