Hello there!

My name is Mim... I am 29 and I live near the beautiful city of York. I have just graduated and moved back from university, where I studied Creative Expressive Therapies. I am interested in art and arts therapies, ecotherapy and ecopsychology, and expressive arts. I am an artist, I make some money by doing henna tattooing at festivals and events, but I am more interested in photography... particularly black and white, and I like using very old cameras and working in the darkroom!

I love nature and being outside... I like walking a lot and I love the sea. I often work with nature in my artwork and feel most restored and inspired in natural places. I love meeting people and tend to work in jobs that involve helping people feel more positive about things. I like to cycle and I love my bike. Lately I am thinking about what to do next, and spending my spare time writing letters (and postcards!), reading books, and doing a bit of art.

I don't mind what postcard you send me... I would love to hear about you, how your day has been, what you are interests you, favourite places, what has inspired you today, what you are grateful for... what you are looking forward to, or reflecting on... book recommendations... a good story... some good advice... memories... ideas... hopes... thoughts... anything at all that you feel you want to say!
