A little bit about myself:

I live with my husband, our 16 year old daughter and our Havanese dog Cupcake in Westlake Village, California. We are about halfway between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, and about 10 miles from Malibu and other Pacific Coast beaches.
I like to walk and hike, especially in company of friends or interesting people. Another favorite activity of mine is learning French. I also speak Spanish, so if you speak Spanish or French, please write to me in those languages. I will appreciate the challenge. I like to read, especially nonfiction (biographies, memories, science, psychology and sociology books) travel books, and occasionally a historical fiction book. Generally I enjoy math, logic and word based puzzles.

I would like to receive, if possible, postcards that show the area where you live, be it cities, villages, rivers, forests, waterfalls, etc. I am sorry but I do not like free, advertisement or hand made post cards at all and I am asking you kindly to not send them to me. Please send me instead postcards of actual places.
