About Miguel...

Hello!! My name is Miguel, and I’m a young lawyer from Spain. I graduated from the University of Alcalá de Henares in the year 2020. Currently, I'm studying to be a civil servant in the spanish administration. I like trains, history, politics, and collecting stamps; but recently, I became interested in postcards.
I’ve written this as a guide about the things I like, so I can give you some ideas to decide what to do. Don’t worry, they’re tips and you can freely send me whatever postcard you want.
Despite what I've wrote here, just relax and do not apologize for the postcard that you've selected or anything, it'll be ok for sure. Postcrossing should be a relaxing hobby, not a stifling one.

***Preferences about postcard topics:
-Trains, railways, train stations, subways and similar things.
-Pixel art.
-Stained glass from cathedrals, churches or temples from any religion.
-Anything related to the "Dune" saga.
-Archeology, ancient civilizations (I specially love ancient Egypt).
-Historical figures, kings, royals, and presidents; also flags, coats of arms, etc...
-Designed postcards and postcards from local, independent or unknown artists (they can be designed by you if you’re the artist/designer or you’re a Fine Arts student).
-Posters of political propaganda, and similar things.
-Advertising from your country.
-Food and meals.
-Fireworks and pyrotechnics.
-Pansies, bonsais and carnivorous plants.
-Historic buildings and monuments.
-Landscapes and natural formations.
(PD: I also collect maxi cards. If you send me one of those instead of a regular postcard, they'll be always welcome ^^).

***Preferences about languages:
The vast majority of postcards are written in English, and I would like to have more language variety if possible, so if you can, write me in Spanish, Portuguese or French. But don’t be overwhelmed if you can’t do it, it's just optional :).
I would like that, when writing the postal adress or anywhere else in the postcard, you write the name of my country, Spain, in your native language and alphabet in addition to its name in English as usual.

***Preferences about what to write:
Anything you want. You can just say hi, or write an anecdote that happened to you, a life lesson that I should know, some thought about any issue you want, a little legend, a proverb, a poem, or even a drawing.

I hope to get your postcard soon. I find exchanging postcards a lovely idea. Conventional mail is not dead yet!
Greetings from Spain,
Miguel
