About Marcia...
I am retired, having spent the last nine years at a law firm. I also worked at our State Capitol building right out of college, and I have worked at a hospital, a small publishing company, and was self-employed for a time. I have two cats, who are like children to me. I had three cats, but lost Gus (shown above) this summer to illness. I miss him very much because he was my first cat and we bonded from the first day I got him. I'm single and have no human children. I enjoy reading, knitting, and creating handmade greeting cards. Madison is our capital city and is quite beautiful. It's a small city but culturally endowed. Madison is surrounded by many small towns and villages, with a significant farming presence. Wisconsin is considered the dairy state, and it produces a lot of milk and cheese (and beer!). Wisconsin is also the home of the Green Bay Packers, a fan-owned football franchise. We are very proud of our team.
