Hi! I am a second grade teacher in a little farm town called Somis. My students have a hard time realizing that there is a huge world out there, so I thought it would be great to get postcards from around our country and our world. Our school is a Kindergarten through eighth grade (middle school), hosting a number of families from Mexico. You may send a card in Spanish if you wish. This is an ongoing project, and many former students come to visit my classroom to check on the postcard project.

We live in Ventura County, known for its famous strawberries and beaches for surfing. Our county is in between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara.

Thank you for sending us a card! You are more than welcome to send a little something else for the children too. (I have 25.) Some people have been so kind and mailed us candies, stickers, and even some traditional wedding dolls! We can't wait to see your mail so we can learn more about the world!
