I LOVE POST CARDS with photos of actual places in the world.

I worked as a computer software and hardware field as a Senior Manager and Computer Scientist. I'm retired from that career on April 1st from General Motors. I have been a consultant to many companies. I will start a second career now. I own a small company to help people realize their dreams. Bumble Bee Path is the name of the company.

I have a small family so I tend to make my friend's my family. I have a husband, two children and one granddaughter.

Favorite Music

My dad was a musician and I like all kinds of music except country and western. Ok, I do like Willie Nelson but that is probably because I live near him in Austin, TX.

Books

I am an author and avid reader. I have published several technical papers and books throughout my career for high tech companies such as IBM and BMC Software. I also wrote the book, "What is Libido and Why don't I have one?", for Dr. Leisa Hart. It is a serious topic with a humorous slant. That books is the only one I have published on Kindle to date.

At this point I enjoy writing more than reading, but my library is full of my favorite books.

Hobbies

Art - My mother was an artist so I also have that gene. I like painting, mosaic, ceramic, sewing.

Gardening - I have a back yard that was a jungle when we moved into our house. I've worked over 20 years clearing and grooming the land. I like doing this in the Spring but hate it in the summer. It's just too hot in Texas for that.

Movies - I enjoy making them and watching them.

Favorite Color: Fire Engine Red but I do like all colors, the more vibrant the better.

Affiliations

* Leader in the Women's March movement since 2017

* Founder and first president of the Heart of Texas DB2 Users Group (HOTDUG). The non-profit has been in service for 19 years and still going strong.

* Life time Girl Scout. I was a "first Class" scout as a girl, which is the equivalent to "eagle scout" in Boy Scouts. I've held the second highest volunteer position in Girl Scouting.
