About Melissa...
Hello! I am a retired hospital social worker in east central Indiana. I am a graduate of Ball State University.I am married with 2 grown children and two wonderful grandchildren. I've collected post cards since I was a small child, and I am looking forward to exchanging cards with all parts of the world. The ones I find most memorable are the ones where the writer shares notes on the back. A glimpse into your world and thoughts is fun. So, if you have time, please share a little bit about yourself and your life. Your name and a date make it interesting also.
I would particularly enjoy any cards with:
- doors and windows
- Olympics
- postbox/mailbox
- literary sites
- lily of the valley, poppies, hydrangea, morning glories
- Vatican City / Pope
- village/neighborhood scenes
- silhouettes
- views of activities in your daily life
- illustrations from children's books
- moomin cards/Inge Look cards
- hospitals
- recipes
- saints
- fairies
- cemeteries - vintage/antique cards
- royalty-
- June birthday cards - anything you find interesting will be appreciated. Thanks for a great new way to add to my collection! If anyone ever runs across a postcard of Schloss Schwarzenberg (Scheinfeld, Germany) I would love to receive a view of that area. In studying family genealogy I found mention that my family worked at (not owned!) that castle.
Warm regards from Indiana, the Hoosier state.
